The Treasurer is located in the Main Courthouse at 500 West 4^th Street, Hastings.

Hours:  9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Duties:

·         Collect all revenues for the County

·         Bill and collect all real estate and personal property taxes in the County

·         Issue motor vehicle titles

·         Register all motor vehicles with tax situs in the County

·         Issue driver licenses, commercial driver licenses, learner permits, ID cards, school permits, etc.

·         Disburse collections to the proper political subdivisions

·         Register motor boat and personal watercrafts

·         Titling of previously owned motor vehicle, boats and trailers

·         Out of state titling coming into Nebraska

·         Lost titles, duplicate titles or replacements

·         Registration of motor vehicles, boats, trailers both new and used

·         Refunds on vehicles licensed in Adams County either sold or relocate to another state

·         Inspections on out of state vehicles coming into Nebraska

·         Public and Private tax sales and Tax Sale Certificates

·         Duplicate driver licenses and ID cards
